Annual General Meeting 2009

About 30 people came along to the Slug & Lettuce Bar in November to attend the Winchester City Fairtrade Network’s AGM.  Before the business of the meeting they were treated to a lively and inspirational talk by Grant Lang, ‘Mozzoman’, about his three passions, coffee, art and the environment, and how his business has promoted them

Grant set up business in 2005, shortly after graduating, selling his coffee in Southampton from a wind and solar powered, art covered mobile coffee cart. Since then his business has grown hugely. In Winchester Mozzo coffee is sold in the coffee bar at the Discovery Centre, the Bridge Patisserie, Café Monde, the Leaf and Bean, Chesil Rectory, Winchester Tennis Club, and the County Council at the Castle.

And it is not just a coffee company. Mozzoman has three passions: coffee (100% Arabica, 100% organic, 100% fair), art, and the environment. Whenever he can he sets up art exhibitions in the venues he supplies. Mozzo coffee aims to bring people, coffee and art together.

It was an inspirational talk followed by lively discussion.
